Steinway Piano Gallery of Milwaukee is pleased to offer music education in a wide variety of styles, including classical, contemporary, jazz and pop/rock.  Our studios have qualified teachers who hold degrees in several areas of music and belong to various professional associations in Wisconsin.  All studios are set-up with the finest Steinway-family pianos or Roland Digital pianos.

Teacher Bio's

Laura Eiche - Piano - 262-737-0311 - leiche954@gmail.com  Laura earned her Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in piano performance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she studied with Carroll Chilton, Howard Karp and Jack Radunsky. She subsequently studied with Seymour Berstein and N. Jane Tan and became a Well Prepared Pianist Institute certified instructor.  As a member of Quintessence, a five grand piano ensemble, Laura performed concerts in Milwaukee, Madison, Corpus Christi Texas and Flagstaff Arizona.  Quintessence advanced to the finals in the 2008 Gina Bachauer International PianoTeam Competition in Salt Lake City Utah. Laura has served as secretary of the Waukesha Music Study Club, president of the Greater Milwaukee Chapter of the Wisconsin Music Teachers Association and on numerous other music organization committees and forums.  She has many years of private and ensemble teaching experience and has prepared hundreds of students for performances and auditions.  She enjoys working with both children and adults at all levels. 

Ana Fau - Piano - 414-897-4435 - http://www.anafaupianist.com. American-Argentine pianist Ana Fau has traveled around the world as a concert Artist. She attended the Eastman School of Music, Rochester N.Y and is a graduate of the legendary St Petersburg State Conservatory, Russia.  She performed at the Grieg Music Festival of Stavanger, Norway, the Velia Music Festival of Italy, including the Gazioli Auditorium in Terni, the Roman Museum of Ceramics concert hall, the Ateneo theater of Madrid, and different state palaces in Dresden Hamburg and Freiberg, in Germany, and Paris, France.  As a pianist in residence at the WFMT, 98.7 FM, Classical Radio Station of Chicago, she held her own program documenting Spanish and Latin American composers recording live solo and chamber music works by Turina, Ginastera, and standard repertoire, including an all-week live recording program marking the 200 jubilei of Frederic Chopin´s birth.  She appeared at the Chicago Cultural Center, The Pan American Symphony Concert series of Washington D.C, the Chopin Festival in Corpus Christi, TX, and the Universities of Wisconsin at Racine, at the University of Chicago, Northwestern University, and many more.  As an educator she has taught at Merit School of Music of Chicago, training students that won several first prizes at local piano competitions.  She has founded the Rachmaninov Music Academy of Buenos Argentina, where she trained several teachers and pianists.  She is new to Milwakee,as a faculty for the Wisconsin Conservatory and Steinway Gallery.  Ana  enjoys playing socker and skiing!

Elizabeth Klose Green - piano- sbgreen3@gmail.com: 262-305-8275  received her doctorate in piano performance from the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, her Master's degree from Indiana University and her Bachelor degree from Michigan State University. She is a native of Wisconsin, although she lived for 19 years in Maryland where she taught piano at Anne Arundel Community College, was the music director at her parish and taught music at her children's school. She is active as an accompanist for the Milwaukee Children's Choir and the String Academy of Wisconsin and has taught piano to students of all ages for the past 28 years. Elizabeth teaches the traditional classical method and enjoys teaching both students interested in competitions and those wanting to learn for their own enjoyment.  

Mary Anne Harris - Piano - 414-257-0681 - maharris2001@sbcglobal.net - Mary Anne is a native of Georgia, and has been teaching piano in Milwaukee since 1990.  She has 32 years of professional music experience in Georgia, Kentucky, and Wisconsin with emphases in piano teaching and performance and choral conducting.  While in graduate school, Ms. Harris studied piano with Dr. Maurice Hinson (author, Guide to the Pianist's Repertoire) and took courses in piano, vocal and organ pedagogy.  The motto for her studio is "striving for excellence and developing well-rounded musicians."  In addition to teaching piano, Ms. Harris sings with the Milwaukee Symphony Chorus, directs a church choir and is an avid matrial artist (5th degree black belt in tae kwon do).  Ms. Harris is a member of various music organizations and her students perform in recitals, auditions, and competitions each year.  Both of her degrees are in music, with her undergraduate degree focusing upon piano performance.

Barbara Hagon – Piano – 414-232-7357- barbarahagon@gmail.com Barbara earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in piano performance from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where she studied with Richard Nehr. She did further studies in performance and pedagogy with N. Jane Tan and Seymour Bernstein in the Well Prepared Pianist Institute. She has served as secretary of the Milwaukee Music Teachers Association and president of the Greater Milwaukee Chapter of the Wisconsin Music Teachers Association. Having had many years’ experience, she enjoys working with students of all ages, children and adults at all levels of accomplishment.

Marilyn Jarc – Piano – 920-946-4828 – Graduate with honors from Western Illinois University, Bachelor of Science in Education. Certified in teaching K through 9 with a Major in Piano. Served with the Darien School System for 14 years. Established and successfully directed musical programs, lays and recitals. Her philosophy of “Piano at all ages” evolved into a full time Piano teaching career, starting at Andrews Edwards Music at Arlington Heights, Illinois. Moving into Wisconsin discovered a talented, diverse student base in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Has guided students and adults from early learning to scholastic advancement and later Adult Piano discovery! Personally, Marilyn comes from a musical family, where at the age of 4 received her first piano lesson under the tutelage of Miss Else Carlstrom, Chicago, Illinois. Aside from piano, with her love of horses, she practices the discipline of French Classical Dressage under the direction of Dominique Barbier and Eileen Webb. “It’s wonderful to dance with your horse to the music of such notables as Spencer Brewer, Roger Williams, David Lanz, Donna Summer and Beethoven."

Jazmin Wong - Piano - (414) 839-9574 - https://www.jazminwongpiano.com Jazmin has over seven years of teaching experience with a Bachelor of Arts in Music. She recently moved back to Milwaukee and would love to continue her passion for teaching piano! In 2021 she was a 20 under 40 award recipient from the Duluth News Tribune paper for my dedication to teaching piano.  She has taught a wide variety of students, including young children to retired adults. During lessons, she teaches the fundamentals of music, including reading sheet music, rhythm, chords, scales, and much more. She encourages students to be creative and listen to original pieces by students, teach contemporary music and consider the students goals.

Simone Gheller - Piano - 414-276-5760 - sgheller@wcmusic.org - Dr. Simone Gheller was born in Padua, Italy, in I978. After graduation from high school, he received four Master's Degrees from the Pedrollo Conservatory in Vicenza, Italy, in Piano, Organ Performance, Music Education, and Choral Music and Choral Conducting. He also received a Doctorate in Organ and Organ Composition, cum laude, from the Venezze Conservatory in Rovigo, Italy, where he studied with Andrea Toschi. He has participated in seminars and master classes of M-L Langlais, W. Matesic, K. Schnorr, J. Artigas Pina and others, and studied at Vienna University with Michael Radulescu and Roman Summereder. In 2008 he received a "Medaille d'Or en Superieur d'Interpretation" with Eric Lebrun at the Conservatoire National de Paris. Dr. Gheller studied at Oberlin College (Ohio, USA) with Professor James David Christie and Olivier Latry, where he finished a prestigious program (the Artist Diploma- a great distinction in music, class 2011). He was also the organist at First Church in Oberlin from 2009 to 2011 and music director at St. Joseph Church in Chicago from 2011 to 2013. Currently, Dr. Simone Gheller is Music Director and Organist at St. Jerome Catholic Church in Oconomowoc, WI (USA). He's also piano teacher at Lake Country Conservatory and Wisconsin Conservatory of Music in Milwaukee. Dr. Gheller has an extensive performing history spanning the last 20 years, with concerts in prestigious locations in Italy, France, Germany, Austria, and America among others. He had a concert tour in Brazil in 2001. He has garnered many prizes, including first prize at the National Italian Organ competition “Citta' di Viterbo” in four of the six years between 1995 and 2000, first prize and gold medal from the President of Italian Republic at the Giarda National Organ Competition, first prize at the International Organ Competition Vegezzi Bossi in 2000, first prize, audience prize and two special prizes at the International Organ Competition “Grand Prix Andrè Marchal” in Biarritz (2007).  Mr. Gheller has recorded CDs: Fiori Musicali by Girolamo Frescobaldi, The Complete Choral Works with Organ by Alessandro Scarlatti for the Tactus label a CD of F. Liszt and J.Reubke organ music and the Orgelbuchlein of J.S. Bach.
